Job description

We are a small independent business located in the heart of Kentish Town. We produce a small range of beautiful artisan products to the highest standards. 

We are currently looking for an experienced baker to join our growing team. You will have at least two years of experience with sourdough baking and viennoiserie, with a passion to learn more and grow in your career. 

This is a full time position (5 days per week, 9 hours per day) to begin as soon as possible. 

You will be responsible for all aspects of the production from start to finish - a great opportunity to learn parts of the baking that you may have less experience with. 

What we are looking for: 

  • At least two years of experience working in a commercial bakery environment. Ideally you will have a good grounding knowledge of sourdough and viennoiserie. 
  • A passion for the industry and a love of all things baking 
  • Willingness to learn and to get involved in all aspects of the role including baking, pastry production, prepping and cleaning
  • High standards of working and a drive to always try to make things better 
  • A kind and caring attitude towards your colleagues and customers 

What we are offering: 

  • £33,000 starting salary NOT including a bi-annual bonus. 
  • 2 days off together as standard - and no long stretches. 
  • No night shifts! Every shift begins at 5am and finishes at 2pm.
