About Us: At Apricot Centre CIC, we are dedicated to supporting new entrant farmers and the wider land based/farming community through innovative education and development programs. As a Community Interest Company, we prioritise social impact and strive to foster an inclusive learning environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced full-time Administrator to join our dynamic Education Team.

Role Overview: As an Administrator within our Education Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our educational programs. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks, including data management, course administration, and supporting our team in delivering high-quality accredited courses.

Your contributions will help us drive our mission to empower learners and facilitate meaningful educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Provide full administrative support to the Education Team, including scheduling meetings, managing communications, and maintaining records.  
  • Assist in the administration of accredited courses, including enrolment processes and student support.  
  • Input and maintain data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant guidelines.  
  • Support the development and maintenance of our website, as well as other online platforms, ensuring content is up to date and user-friendly.
  • Utilise Canva and other design tools to create engaging materials for courses, workshops, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance administrative processes and improve service delivery.  

Qualifications and Skills:  

  • Proven administrative experience, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of accredited courses and the education sector is highly desirable.  
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Google docs and also Microsoft - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software.
  • Experience with website management and content updates (familiarity with Square space and similar platforms preferred).
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail for monitoring and evaluation tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

About The Apricot Centre @Huxham's Cross Farm

The Apricot Centre CIC @Huxhams Cross Farm is nestled in the heart of Dartington. We are a 35 acre organic and Biodynamic farm and CSA that grows a variety of fruit, vegetables and cut flowers, with a small herd of cattle and pigs, as well as offering a wellbeing service and nature connection activities. We are also an education centre, offering officially accredited Level 2, 3 and 4 courses and traineeships in organic regenerative agriculture, as well as permaculture and biodynamics trainings.
