Job description
Do you want to help create a better food system? Come and join the Better Food Traders, supporting the work of this dynamic network in a fully flexible, part-time role. We’re looking for a Regional Coordinator based in the North of England, working 12 hours a week on a flexible basis, initially on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. This is an important role, responsible for helping us build the BFT Network in the North of England as well as identifying and responding to the needs of our members there.
This job is open to everyone, regardless of background. We acknowledge that the environmental sector is less accessible to people from minority backgrounds and we’re committed to doing what we can to correct this. We especially want to hear from you if you feel that opportunities like this are less available to you, or you don’t see yourself represented very often in the environmental or sustainable food sectors.

Remote working with some travel to regional events (travel expenses paid).
Weekly team zoom meeting on Tuesday mornings - not essential but good if you can join regularly.
