Job description

We're seeking a full-time Head Grower for our 7-acre walled garden, with 2-bed cottage accommodation and an opportunity for a share-growing arrangement for the right person.

Situated on the National Trust Coleshill estate, we operate a popular organic veg box scheme, delivering across Oxfordshire/ Wiltshire, with a weekly stall at Stroud farmers’ market and an on-site honesty shop. We also supply local restaurants, pubs, and retail outlets.

Certified by the Soil Association, we’ve been growing organically for almost 30 years. The business includes three no-dig polytunnels, a Victorian propagation glasshouse, a packing shed, and various outbuildings, and a range of specialist equipment.

We are looking to recruit a grounded, hard-working grower with at least three years of proven commercial experience who can take the lead on crop planning and vegetable production.

We can offer an annual salary of £24,000–£30,000 with an opportunity for a share-growing arrangement. 20 days paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays. Basic pension scheme. Two-bedroom local cottage accommodation, if required.
