Job description
We are seeking an experienced, committed and organised grower to join our small Market Garden team at our 2.5 acre urban agriculture site in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
You will be joining a fantastic, knowledgable and passionate team with a great range of skills and experience. Working together under the guidance of our lead grower, the team share the tasks and responsibilities involved crop production and running and developing Market Garden site of this scale.
Year on year, we have increased the amount of produce we grow, developing our our sales and relationships with our Greater Manchester markets through our amazing fresh organic produce.
Recently we took ownership of two additional polytunnels and over the coming year are looking forward to improving our plant raising and veg packing spaces, as well as trialling some new crops with some of our long term supportive buyers.
We are therefore looking for a grower, who can help us meet the potential of our amazing site, and crucially work well with our great little team and our amazing volunteers and buyers.
