Job description

We are seeking a Head Bread Baker to join our team and lead bread production. This role requires a skilled individual with a passion for their craft, who can create exceptional products, lead a team, and maintain the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production of bread.
  • Develop and test new recipes to expand our product line and meet customer preferences.
  • Maintain consistency and quality in all baked products.
  • Lead, train, and supervise the bread team, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Manage ingredient inventory, ordering supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to plan seasonal menus and special promotions.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot baking equipment as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Baker or Senior Baker in a commercial or artisan bakery.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing new recipes and products.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with food safety and health regulations.
