Job description

GCDA is looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Health Programmes Administrator.

Are you interested in health and community development? This role offers a chance to make a real difference! You’ll provide vital administrative and operational support, ensuring the successful delivery of our community health programmes.

  • Perform administrative tasks to support the effective delivery of health programmes, including holiday meals, ambient food projects, Bexley Cookery clubs and the food aid network.
  • Plan and coordinate booking cookery clubs including venues, tutors and administration of data input and recruitment to clubs
  • Organise and coordinate food aid network meetings, such as booking venues, inviting attendees, and securing guest speakers
  • Attend relevant meetings, take accurate minutes, and distribute them across relevant groups and networks, ensuring follow-up actions are completed
  • Handle administrative duties for the ambient food project (wholesale programme), including placing orders, checking deliveries, and managing record.
  • Actively outreach in the community such as visiting partners, stakeholders, conducting surveys and compiling reports as required
  • Assist in planning and delivering events, workshops, and other programme activities
