Job description
We are looking for food lovers to join our retail team on a part-time basis for 1 or 2 days a week. We believe experience behind the cheese counter is the best way to learn about the production, selection, and maturation of the products we work with.

Starting salary: £27,000+ (dependent on experience) pro-rata with opportunities for progression
Your shifts would include a set Saturday with others on a Sunday or mid-week. Please specify your availability on your cover letter. There will also be many opportunities to take on extra shifts across our busiest periods of the year.
Availability in the run-up to Christmas is essential; we ask that part-time mongers chip in with a full 5 days. Your training will take place at either our East Dulwich or Borough Market site and you will likely be retailing across more than one of our sites over the year.

About Mons Cheesemongers
Mons Cheesemongers opened at Borough Market, London in 2006. We now have a stall at Brockley Market & specialist cheese shops within Bermondsey’s Spa Terminus complex & on Lordship Lane, East Dulwich. We select traditionally made Continental & British cheeses and age them in our cellars in London and on the Cote Roannaise. We also supply a range of dairy produce, cured meats, crackers, condiments, beers, wines, ciders & perries.
