Job description

Middle Ground Growers CIC are seeking a long term core team role to lead on our wholesale customer supply to restaurants, shops and farms in the region. This role will also involve assisting with the crop production and market garden management, with various role options depending on experience.

What we are looking for:

• Someone with experience harvesting, packing and growing 
• Someone organized, diligent and consistent in managing large wholesale orders and harvests  
• Flexibility and adaptability 
• Long-term commitment to the core team and co-developing the MGG mission, vision and values 
• Work ethic and good time management to achieve packing/prep in good time
• Calmness and groundedness under pressure e.g. big harvests and orders 
• Over time able to delegate and lead teams in future years 
• Potential to also take on the role as an assistant grower and over time lead on areas of cropping and, market garden (more days/hours for this in future years) 
• A good communicator with the rest of the farm team, responsive to emails/messages on work days and able to build long-term relationships both with the farm team and the wider community e.g. chefs, shop owners and wholesale customers. 
• Open to doing some organisational support over time e.g. wholesale communications, invoicing and logistics.

£12.50 per hour with full employee benefits ++
