Job description
The Role:
Teaching basic gardening skills to our women only gardening class: How to use organic methods to prepare the ground, sow seeds, transplant seedlings, plant, cultivate, tend and harvest vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruit. How to maintain existing flowers, shrubs and trees in the Centre’s front space, rear garden and street planters, and to lead external trips for the group.
Possibility to run extra sessions if you have seasonal skills such as foraging, making natural cosmetics, jam, chutney, cordial or Christmas wreaths.
Time and Date:
Fixed-term 1-year contract with possibility to renew.
