Job description
At Our Farm we grow vegetables, herbs, flowers, and fruit and raise a small selection of livestock using bio-diverse and bio-intensive principles set in the idyllic Cartmel Valley on the very southern tip of the Lake District. The farm was started by Chef Simon Rogan to supply his nearby Michelin-starred restaurants.
Simon Rogan's restaurant group opened in 2002 with the opening of the acclaimed L'Enclume restaurant in Cartmel, Cumbria. Over the years we have grown to include, Rogan & Co in Cartmel, Henrock in Windermere, Home by Simon Rogan in Flookburgh, Aulis in London, Roganic and Aulis in Hong Kong and Ion Harbour in Malta. We boast 9 Michelin stars and 2 green Michelin stars and are renowned for the quality and seasonality of our offer.
To build on the success of the farm and drive it further forward we are looking to recruit a Grower to work with our team to continue to deliver fantastic seasonal produce to our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Planting, nurturing and harvesting produce
- Liaising with the culinary team on their requirements
- Landscaping
- Maintaining all due diligence procedures
