Job description

Packing support for Deliveries (Fixed Term)

We are looking for someone to join our team to support our Deliveries team as a Packing Support team member, packing and preparing our wholesale customer orders, and also helping to open our bakery shop.

Shifts are set on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6.00am - 8.00am which equates to a contract of 4 hours per week. We would require the successful candidate to guarantee their availability during these days and times as unfortunately we cannot be flexible on this timing.

This is a fixed term role, and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, to work with us until at least August 31st 2025.

The role requires packing our wholesale customer orders which will be sent out on our Delivery rounds, so we are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate packing of all our orders. The successful candidate will have good time management, be diligent and observant in order to ensure all quality control measures are followed to the highest standards.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working both independently and in a small team. The role involves working alongside our Deliveries Drivers on shift as well as communicating any relevant information/issues to our Operations & Sales team.

Experience of packing orders/deliveries isn’t essential as full training will be provided, we’re interested in finding someone with the right skills to help ensure the best bread goes out to our wholesale customers each week!

The role involves frequent lone working so we are looking for someone who is able to work effectively independently and who can manage their own workload and work to strict time deadlines. Due to the lone nature of the role we require someone who is 18 years old or above.

Application information

If you are interested in the role, please email your CV and a covering letter/email to personnel@leedsbread.coop before the application deadline. Your covering letter/email should show why you would be a good fit for the role and how you meet the skills/requirements outlined in the advert above.
